Lamentations 3:22-23, Romans 5: 1-5You don’t have to live a long time to experience grief. It comes to us in all sorts of shapes and sizes. A lost job, a broken relationship, the death of a loved one, or even something as innocent as your kid leaving for school, all cast shades of grief.
1 Peter 5:6-11 A quick perusal of the daily news and a person could lose a lot of sleep. There is a lot to be worried about. Some of it’s legitimate and some, if we are honest, is just worry. What do we do? Before Jesus, we lost sleep, got irritable, annoyed those around us and generally robbed ourselves of happiness. But in Christ, it’s a brand new day! The issues are still real. Life still has danger. But this week we learn how to face our anxiety with faith, and to find peace in the midst of it all.
