OUR AFFILIATIONS

Converge is a movement of over 1300 churches working together around the world to help people meet, know and follow Jesus by starting and strengthening churches together worldwide.

 

Converge North Central, the area we are a part of, includes 256 congregations, who work together to serve our region of the country which includes the states of Minnesota and Iowa.

 

Since 1858, we have seen generations of churches, leaders and missionaries join forces through God’s power to accomplish the impossible. The command of Christ to "go and make disciples" resonates in our hearts and resounds from our pulpits. It is evidenced in the ministries of our congregations and our mission fields.

 

We are committed to starting and strengthening churches. Our churches are multigenerational and growing with young families, our theology is biblically conservative without being fundamental. And we celebrate the diversity in our distinctive expressions of God’s work in our world. Our congregations are teaching-centered, grace-based, spirit-filled, seeker-sensitive and purpose driven.

 

We are rooted in the inerrant, infallible word of God. We are rooted in our belief that Jesus is the only way of salvation. We are rooted in our dependence on God to accomplish the work that He has called us to do. We are proud of our history and the story of those who came before us who moved into new territory and took risks for God to start new churches. We are rooted in the Great Commission. We believe that God has called us to make disciples of all nations.

 

We are Better Together - A team always outthinks, outperforms and outlasts the individual. We believe we are better together. God can use us to do something that we can never do apart. And so, we choose to come together—Converge—to work together, to share best practices, pray and encourage each other. We believe God has put us in this moment, in this time, in the United States and around the world to help people meet, know and follow Jesus in by starting and strengthening churches together worldwide.

NorthRidge is part of one of the most dynamic and effective church planting networks in the midwest. NorthRidge has helped start the churches listed here. We are committed to helping start new churches. A portion of our chuch tithe is set aside for help fund new church starts.
